The 710th concert of the “Music at the Technical University” series will be an exceptional event – a musical memorial of Professor Jan Krysiński in the first anniversary of his death. The professor, an extraordinary scientist and the multiannual rector of the Technical University of Łódź, is also remembered as a great erudite and art lover who was the initiator of this series of concerts at the Technical University starting in 1992. The series of concerts is under the patronage of His Magnificence Rector of the Technical University of Łódź prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik.
The event will consist of performances of artists who have already been applauded by Professor Jan Krysiński and the faithful audiences of the Technical University on numerous occasions. It is worthwhile to especially highlight the participation of the pianist Aleksandra Nawe, who has been connected to “Music at the Technical University” nearly since its very inception. This time Aleksandra Nawe invited two vocalists: Dorota Wójcik and Ziemowit Wojtczak. The piano pieces of Frédéric Chopin and Robert Schumann will be performed by Justyna Galant while the opera repertoire is to be sung by Patrycja Krzeszowska-Kubit, Urszula Kryger and Arkadiusz Anyszka accompanied by Ewa Szpakowska on the piano. The evening will begin with the cycle “Woman’s Love and Life” mentioned on multiple occasions by the Professor, this time performed by Urszula Kryger and Paweł Cłapiński.
